Aug 25, 2003 7:05:28 Looking for as much source material about this village and surrounding area as possible. I have all novels and 95% of the RPG materials but none of the new gaming material(ie DLCS or AOM) yet

Any sources i may have missed or anything at all involving this area would be appreciated

Aug 25, 2003 8:09:08 I know that the Champions of Krynn computer game dealth briefly with Throtyl as the first area the pcs investigated. Not sure if this really helps with anything canon, though. Otherwise I also haven't found much info on it, not that I've looked a great deal.

Aug 28, 2003 6:44:45 Yeah, I had heard of that game before. Its an oldie but it doesnt really place Throtyl as a hobgoblin town like some of the sources i do have mentioned.

But there is some fan material on it.

Here are two pages on the region of Throtyl by a guy named Morgan Barry.

It's not "exactly" 100% in line with some of the details that some of the gaming products have alluded to, but so what. It's nicely done and gives a great overview of the region. He says directly at the top of the first page: (once again, no canon sources, other than a map and some hazy memories, were used in the making of this document)

But I think this will help you out immensely.

And if they travel south I have detailed some of Qwermish

Been working on a "zone" on a MUD i admin on for ages now but i prefer having some good background on an area to work with. I'll remember you and the author Morgan in my credits with the "zone".
