Aug 25, 2003 10:35:14 does anyone know where i can buy dark sun ravager of the lands or dark sun 3, because i have been looking and everywhere and when i do find it its not in stock. anyway, thank you for reading this, please tell me if you know anywhere where i can buy or download dark sun 2 or 3 ( i have dark sun crimson sun)

Aug 25, 2003 15:49:11 Dark Sun 3 is freely available for download from The Burnt World of Athas, which is the site that has a link listed in the Other Roleplaying Worlds HQ listing for Dark Sun (which is, unless you came from another site that has a link to this forum, in which case it most likely has a link to athas.org on it anyway, the page you were on to get to this forum). Digging around on this forum a little also has information on the progress to convert to 3.5, as well as other releases, like the City-State of Draj.

I don't remember the website(s) where the 2nd Ed. rules and materials can be bought (pdf-style) for like $5.00 each.

Aug 26, 2003 9:41:33 Shattered lands was awesome , I wish some one would redo it with NWN. Wake of the Ravager I could never get to function. and that was when i was running win98. Haven't tried to play either on XP but i would imagine its not going to be easy. Man come to think of it it would be cool to try them again. Anyone know what it will take to runn them on XP?

Aug 26, 2003 19:06:20 im running xp pro and shattered lands works perfectly fine but wake of the ravager runs a little slower than it did on my previous windows versions and operating systems

Did you have to run the sound setup? What kind of sound card do you have. Because i can't even get Wake to function unless I set the game to run with no sound.

Any one know a site that has some troubleshooting help for these games.

Aug 29, 2003 12:53:07 sorry man, no clue about that stuff, maybe someone whose been here loner can help u out...anyway, i went 2 athas.org and whenever i try and download ds3 it keeps loading an acrobat page instead of letting me downlaod the game, im probably doing something stupid but can someone clear that up for me plz?

Aug 29, 2003 13:28:29 As far as i know there wasn't a DS3 game for the computer. There was an online game called Dark Sun online or some such, but i am not sure if the game can be played anymore, perhaps there is a server still hosting it out there somewhere.

If I am wrong let me know, i'd love to have another DS PC game to play.

If you are getting that from The Burnt World of Athas then is better be an Acrobat file, as it is a Pencil & Paper Roleplaying Game set of rules, not a computer game. You know, the kind where you get out a pencil, paper, jot down some stats and roll little multi-sided plastic objects with numbers on them called dice. (meant to be sarcastic, but not cruel, fyi).

There is a NWN mod for DS available on darksunonline.com but I haven´´t tried it cause I lack NWN.
