Besides, even if they are in the bestiary, you probably wouldn't be able to use them pre- or post-Chaos War. I'm pretty sure that they disappeared when Chaos was re-imprisoned.

So they are very powerful monsters. That's not a very good reason for not using them. Many of Chaos' monsters were left behind on Krynn after his defeat. There are encounters with Chaos demons in the fifth age books.
