#1zombiegleemaxAug 27, 2003 16:43:04 | SPOILERS for War of Souls trilogy (but it's been quite a while since the release of those books I'm not sure it's warranted, still better safe than caught with one's pants down.... err... sorry, here it is) I'd look up the old threat whose name I don't have the faintest idea of but with the recent flood of threads, no doubt brought about by the influx of fresh blood of DL fans, I'll start a new thread. ANYWAY, remember when I mentioned that Dragons of a Lost Star shows the maelstrom on its front map? Well, I was thumbing through Bertrem's Guide to the War of Souls, vol II and its front map also shows it. I like to reason that the return of the gods and the subsequent re-linking with the Abyss would resume Krynn's "bathtub drain" feature. |
#2brimstoneAug 27, 2003 17:11:03 | That's what I kinda thought, too. But, the DLCS doesn't show it on any of the maps...it's just a sea. And I didn't see any mention anywhere of it being back. Any confirmation from the Sov Press people? |
#3zombiegleemaxAug 27, 2003 20:36:51 | There is no Maelstrom... This is not the Blood Sea you are looking for. *waves his hand and tries to look dignified and sagely without bursting into laughter at the image of him dressed like ObiWan Kinobi* Christopher |

Let's give him a hand folks. ::applause:: Now, our next entertainer with little or nothing to say but alot of credentials to back herself up.... MARGARET WEISS! "Ohhhh, thank you, thanks, L33t. What's the deal with that Maelstrom is it here? Is it there? Where does the water go? Why don't they just build the whole plane out of the Maelstrom? What's up with that?!" |
