i took a look at the adventures available for AD&D at he WotC download section. I was wondering. Are there any 5th age adventures out there? Or do I have to wait until the 9th age before any such thing comes out?

There are two printed in the DLCS book and there might be some in the Age of Mortlas, which I think is due out tomorrow. The new triloogy of moduless hould be out soon, at least the 1st one

There is a trilogy of large modules planned, I believe Christopher Coyle is writing them.
The first of them, "Key of Destiny" is slated for release in October if I recall correctly.

I've heard the second adventure as being titled "Spector of Sorrows" due for 1Q 2004, I believe they naming convention for the module series has changed since then though.

FWIW, I've seen one of Christopher Coyle's past modules... "At the Edge of Dreams", and it was extremely impressive. Very nicely structured, clean and simple layout, with a solid and plausible story.

Whether this holds true for his DL adventures remains to be seen, but at the least he does have one very good adventure published.

You might need to be a little bit more specific. Are you talking about the 5th Age in general...or the 5th Age prior to the War of Souls?

Brimstone, are there any more plans for adventures before the War of Souls, do you know?

Not a clue. However, I've seen how Margaret has talked about how she would have liked to do the 5th Age if she'd been in charge (on the DL-L). So perhaps that means at some point we'll get a pre-War of Souls sourcebook (it may have even been mentioned as a possibility...I don't recall). But, I'm not going to hold my breath for it...nor any book on ambient magic, either.

Where is that at? Her comments on the 5th Age?

Where can the rest of us read her thoughts on how she would have done the 5th Age?

You'll have to find in in the Dragonlance Mailing List archives. I have no idea when it was, though, or what the subject was.

Good luck finding it, though.

Thanks for the info. Can you recap anything for those of us who were unable to read it?

Amaron doing thread necromancy again I see. If you seriously have some sort of a complex that requires you to post a million times a day regardless of whether you actually have anything to say why don't you go to the Rec Room? Sheesh.

Call it what you like, but I am being helpful to some people who may not have had the oppurtunity to read some of these things as well as giving advertisment for the NEXUS.

Thanks for your opinion Jonesy.

Now what called for THAT comment ? I guess Amaron Blackthorn posting on threads YOU say are dead is somehow hurting you ?

I'm not the only one, the first one, or the last one to complain of his recent antics. Take a look and you'll notice that he has been resurrecting threads over a year old with meaningless one-liners.

Is resurrecting old threads against the CoC ?

Poor Jonesy, so bitter. If you dont want to respond to them, then why do you continually do so? You are no better in this regard. If you dont want to read these posts then dont and then dont respond to them. It is really that simple.

Did I do something taboo?

Bringing back an old topic here or there isn't really taboo, but bringing back a bunch at once is considered spamming.

I'm closing this thread due to the new policy on novel discussions. See sticky thread above on where to post novel discussions.

Good day.

Thanks for the repost Jonesy. I wonder why posting on old topics is considered SPAMMING ?

oh no, I made a spam burger.

CRUCIFY ME CRUCIFY ME.

If any one fails to see the importance of getting some of this information out to other players and gamers that is not my fault. You dont have to respond. It is really that simple.
