#1zombiegleemaxSep 03, 2003 0:38:36 | I want to see Dark Sun 3E in print and was just trying to check up on it. Burpo |

#3zombiegleemaxSep 03, 2003 2:04:03 | Okay, that was rough. I do apologize for the bare fangs. Athas.org is still working on the poject. You can get the latest download of the core rules document at their site. In (hopefully) a few weeks or less they're going to post an update of the rules to be compatable with the 3.5 revisions. Dark Sun is not likely to ever see print. The only material being officially created for it will be by Athas.org. WOTC is not going to be printing any more DS products and no 3rd party publishers have made any other inquiries about picking up the DS license since AEG(?) last year or the year before (at least not that I know of and I've got a pretty good range of hearing). |

#5zombiegleemaxSep 04, 2003 0:08:51 | Is the site down or am I going to the wrong url? www.athas.org is that right or is it something else? I keep getting the 404 page. Da Guru |
#6zombiegleemaxSep 04, 2003 0:12:39 | The athas.org team is doing a fine job of creating a rules set for it, available in PDF form. Print it out and the only thing missing is a cover and a 30-40 dollar deduction from your checking account. Can't beat free (and the artwork ain't too shabby either). They've also released two adventures, a monster supplement for the Deadlands region, and a sourcebook for the City State of Draj. Once again, all for free. Personally, I hope DS never sees print again ;), but that's just me. Besides, if it were being made by WOTC or some 3rd party publisher, not only would it cost money, but we, the community, wouldn't be able to chunk out so much great input about the creation proccess . . . [/end sarcasm]. |

#11zombiegleemaxSep 04, 2003 5:04:16 | That's weird. Its not supposed to really work that way is it? |
#12zombiegleemaxSep 04, 2003 8:12:58 | Does anybody know what's happening with the site? I can't access it at it keeps giving me a 404 message and the other alternate address does not work either. What's up? |
#13xlorepdarkhelm_dupSep 04, 2003 11:41:05 | Originally posted by Mach2.5 Only if the DNS servers haven't updated themselves yet. hen both would work. IP addresses (the 4-numbers with dots kind) work just fine, once you're up on the 'net, you can be accessed by your IP. |
