It's good to be back! To Dark Sun that is.. I was 12 or 13 when I first started playing darksun when it first came out. I got out of RPing when I was in high school and sold off all my stuff. Bah! Now thanks to Ebay I can gain it all back, hehe. I had nearly everything that was released up until the 1st revision of the setting. Now I want it all. It's great to see athas.org converting things to 3.5 ed. I'd like to congradulate them for doing this! Dark Sun and Ravenloft happen to be my 2 most favorite AD&D settings, I think probably because they are not 'normal' worlds like Forgotten Realms, Greyhawk, or Dragonlance. I am unfamilar with the newer changes on Krynn.. it seems to be more 'abnormal' now but I'm not sure. Anyway.. Keep Dark Sun alive!!!

Sep 05, 2003 19:25:46 Don't forget Planescape.... pretty hard to get "abnormal" without that campaign setting springing up

Sep 07, 2003 16:32:46 Dragonlance has returned to some normality thanks to the War of Souls trilogy by Hickman and Weis (of course, who else?).

Sep 07, 2003 16:34:37 Yeah.. I truthfully forgot about Planescape. Probably because it was just gaining ground when I started to get out of RPing. It looks cool though.. Is it coming back in v3.5 or no?

Sep 07, 2003 20:46:52 Check out the 'teaser' releases from Planwalker.com. Just like Athas.org is doing with Dark Sun, they're busy converting things for Planescape. So far, its good stuff.
