For those of you that may be interested, the Kencyclopedia has a monster generator that helps you figure out the stat block for monsters. I have just finished upgrading it to use 3.5 Edition Rules. So if you're looking to make a new creature (until the Beastiary arrives) give this a shot and see if it helps you out: KC Creature Creator (v3.5) Note: i won't say it's perfect. There may be a few bugs that I am working out, but it's pretty solid for the most part. |

Uhmm.. well.. lets just say it "estimates" CR, but the final screen lets you modify any of the settings in the stat block so if it looks too low or too high you can always adjust it. :D |
