#1zombiegleemaxSep 09, 2003 9:33:19 | I've been considering what age to set my adventure in. I'm leaning towards the Age of Mortals, but what is everyone else picking? |
#2zombiegleemaxSep 09, 2003 9:57:05 | I´ve started preparations on a campaign set during the War of the Lance. It´s my favorite period. I´ve also had a few ideas on a campaign set in the years after the War of Souls. This one is based on the minotaur invasion of continental Ansalon. |
#3zombiegleemaxSep 09, 2003 10:35:11 | We are playing a few years after the war of souls. |
#4shugiSep 09, 2003 11:02:19 | Likewise, my campaign starts about 6 months after the War of Souls. There's more than enough going on at this time - Dalamar and Jenna are rebuilding the Orders of High Sorcery, Gilthas is searching for a new homeland for the elves, the minotaurs are establishing their foothold on Ansalon, the Knights of Neraka/Solamnia are fighting over territories, draconians are securing their future as a race, etc. It's rife with possibilities. |
#5zombiegleemaxSep 09, 2003 11:08:13 | Starting bout a year after the War of Souls in my campaign. |
#6zombiegleemaxSep 09, 2003 11:48:45 | Here is the synopsis of my campaign with all the major events happening. I'd like some C&C Storm over Ansalon 5th age (possible 6th age) |
#7talinthasSep 09, 2003 12:45:41 | chaos war all the way =) |
#8sweetmeatsSep 09, 2003 13:03:13 | Current campaign (3rd ed) is set a few months after the War of the Lance. My next one (3.5 ed) will replace the Chaos War but will lead into the 5th age. |
#9kalanthSep 09, 2003 13:53:37 | I started out when the DLCS starts. |
#10lenin97Sep 09, 2003 14:26:10 | I'm just staring to do the DM legwork but right now I'm shooting for pre-WotL. Of my gamimg group; all have read Chronicles, few have read Legends and I'm the only one to go farther. |
#11zombiegleemaxSep 09, 2003 17:24:37 | Running a Chaos War game which will lead into the Age of Mortals eventually. Arandur |
#12zombiegleemaxSep 09, 2003 18:53:21 | Post War o the souls. How post I am not sure yet. Probally 1 year maybe 2 =) |
#13baron_the_curseSep 10, 2003 1:02:51 | My campaign started in the year 382 AC and is currently now in the year 402 AC. Since I began the campaign in 1998 and I didn’t like the ending of Dragons of Summer Flame I alter the timeline so the Gods never departed Krynn. After all, Chaos was defeated. So right now it’s basically Fifth Age but without the Dragon Overlords. |
#14zombiegleemaxSep 10, 2003 15:24:45 | I'm DMing a post-WoS game and playing in a post-Cataclysm game. |
#15zombiegleemaxSep 11, 2003 13:47:05 | I'm DM'ing a game set back in the Age of Dreams. |
#16baron_the_curseSep 11, 2003 19:26:26 | Originally posted by The Spellcasting Sorcerer That's pretty cool. |
#17ferratusSep 11, 2003 20:07:56 | Originally posted by Eylwn Highmoon That's pretty cool, I never considered the option of Takhisis being a dragon before. I am wondering though, why doesn't Paladine want to return to godhood? Is it merely because his ascension would bring Takhisis back to power due to the law of balance? |
#18zombiegleemaxSep 23, 2003 9:12:19 | My campaign is set in the year 346 AC, just a few years before the WOTL starts in the east. It’s based on Ansalon, but with many differences in the way cultures/nations are portrayed in the official material. George |
#19carteegSep 23, 2003 17:41:04 | Recently finished DLn (n = {1..14} && !5 && !11). [Sorry, computer programmer took over for a moment.] So I'm just after the War of the Lance. I'm planning on trying to do a Legends campaign after taking a break after DMing for a year. [I'M FREE! FREE! MWAHAHAHAHA!] However I am doing a mini-adventure wrapping up little side-adventures that the PCs wanted to do after Neraka. At the moment, it is autumn of 352 A.C., and I'm running an adventure that is searching the underground passages beneath The Ruins. After The Blue Ladies' War I'm planning on jumping to the Chaos War, then the time of Dragons of a New Age, then the War of Souls, and then the new adventure trilogy that is coming out. I figure that will have me set for a number of years. |
#20daedavias_dupSep 23, 2003 22:20:38 | Should my campaign ever get off the ground(I need more players) I will be playing in Post-WoS. I plan on returning Takhisis to life, for a favor from Chemosh(He wants Krell on the mainland). I also plan on both of the Towers of High Sorcery being found, the one in Istar rising above the waves on an island formed from the rubble of the city of Istar. The main reason for this is the close proximity of Brine's totem to the Tower(at least in my game he had is totem there) caused an influx of magic that was enough to awaken the latent energy within the ruins. All of the ruined Towers are capable of doing this. The Tower in Nightlund is slowly corrupting the forest surrounding it, attracting all sorts of undead in the process. Woe to the traveler who comes upon the once more accursed Grove of the Dark Tower. The Tower of Wayreth allowed itself to be found when a group of adventurers were attacked by a horde of goblins. It has since been regained by the WoHS, with Dalamar assuming the seat of the Head of the Order once more. Much to the surprise of all, the once thought dead Gilthanas assumes the head of the White Robes, claiming the newly resurrected Tower of the Waves as his domain. The Silver dragon D'Argent is no more, having reconciled with Gilthanas, Silvara has completely transformed into a kagonesti, with the aid of Mishakal. The minotaurs will make their presence known, and it will take the combined armies of the elves and the mountain dwarves to repel her. The Mori elves ally themselves with the Knights of Solamnia in an effort to rid the word of Gellidius, gaining much aid from the WoHS and a group of sorcerors. The Knights of Nereka, allied with the ogres, led by Takhisis and Mina, march to destroy Onysablet. Valthonis has not been seen in weeks. |
