The dark is that the only time I've used Planescape is well after the characters have started getting into level 10 or so...Never tried lower level campaigns. And no matter how much I try, I can't pull any ideas out of my brain-box. Do any of you have suggestions for things that aren't in existing modules, etc.? |

Arthas: steal a relic from a temple in lady´s ward or another plane. etc. you get the idea, right? |

The mission looks to be a real cake run on the surface but hidden dangers pop up. Ex: PCs overhear in the Marketward, or other suitable place, that Baernak needs someone to deliver an agate stone to somewhere in Olympus and is willing to pay 300 gp plus expenses and dependable portals with keys if the job is done quickly. Twist: the stone could be enscribed with a trap the soul spell or something equally insidious. |

It works best before your party can level any Harmonium patrol that comes along. (Disclaimer: the following is a rant, if only a short one. It is completely off topic, and should not be commented on. Just read and think, "Dang, this man is right.") I hate video games where the guards are more or less invincible and you're out fighting evil. If you can beat the end boss of the game and the guards are still challenging to you and occur in enough numbers that a gang of them could potentially beat you, why the heck aren't they out there fighting the evil in the first place? I'm sure that all these people who could kill everyone in the game with the possible exception of the final boss are really concerned about me picking someones pocket. |
