#1zombiegleemaxSep 11, 2003 17:05:32 | Didn't Mt Nevermind errupt or something during the Chaos Wars? does this mean that Age of Mortal gnomes can't be from mt. nevermind? Or was the eruption contained and the place not actually ruined? i haven't read much AoM (in fact, all i've read is the War of Souls trilogy), so sorry if this is a stupid question. |
#2zombiegleemaxSep 11, 2003 17:19:09 | No they just lost the top levels of Mt.Nevermind. |
#3DragonhelmSep 11, 2003 17:21:14 | The "Age of Mortals gnomes", or thinker gnomes, actually date back to Dragonlance Adventures, where they were gnown as mad gnomes. The concept of Tinker and Thinker gnomes has been used in Taladas, with the Minoi and Gnomoi, as seen in the Time of the Dragon boxed set. |

#7zombiegleemaxSep 11, 2003 17:57:42 | I could be wrong, but I thought the Mountain blew it's lid during it's siege during the chaos war. I also think that it was only the top levels but it is still populated by the gnomes... Arandur |
#8DragonhelmSep 11, 2003 18:06:27 | Originally posted by Arandur That's correct. There's a minor dragon overlord there now (Pyrothraxus?), and it seems that he's gone quite mad... |
#9kipper_snifferdoo_02Sep 11, 2003 20:07:01 | Originally posted by Magus_Extreme To answer the original question... the top 5 levels of the 25 levels of Mount Nevermind were blown off. So the mountain is still very much habitable and the gnomes are working on a number of improvements in Solar Power and Rain Coat / Umbrella design. |
