#1zombiegleemaxSep 14, 2003 17:06:34 | Looking over some of the NPCs in Age of Mortals I was a little confused. Palin Majere was shown to be nothing more than a sorcerer/academy sorcerer/master ambassador and Goldmoon a mystic/citadel mystic. Wouldn't they still hold levels as a wizard/wizard of high sorcery and cleric respectively...even though they couldn't cast spells as such? For example, in the early days of Dragonlance Goldmoon was still considered a cleric even though she couldn't cast spells. |
#2The_White_SorcererSep 14, 2003 17:14:25 | AFAIK, spellcasters in Krynn can "change focus," which means that they can transfer their cleric levels to mystic levels (and vice versa) and their wizard levels to sorcerer levels (and vice versa). This allows Goldmoon, for example, to have powerful mystic spells without going epic. |
