I haven't finished the War of Souls series yet, but I was curious what people that of the following adventure concept.

It's for 3 to 6 players, at this point my idea is for 2 red robe, 2 white robe, and 2 black robe Wizards at the end of the War of Souls, when I assume the Conclave reforms.

It starts with 3 mini adventures, each adventure aimed towards a quest, or series of quests for each color robe in the conclave.

So I'd run an adventure for 2 white robes, then 2 red, then 2 black, culminating in each group and/or individual undergoing the Test and becoming official members of the Conclave.

At such a time, they'd be given an enormous task, I think there will be lots of enormous tasks at the end of the War of Souls, and the task would be undertaken with all the characters, white, red, and black robes.

Since magic, it's protection, discovery, and growth, overshadows alignments, I think this would work well with those characters and am wondering if anyone has any ideas or thoughts to add to the concept.

Sounds like a unique concept, but I have played in a large group (like 8-9 players, 1 DM and his assistant) and we had only two wizards, and the competition for arcane resources was so big that neither enjoyed playing in the game and continually complained about how 'weak' their wizards were.

I wouldn't like the idea of playing in a DL campaign with another white robe (not too mention another four wizards) from my order, as that would negate a lot of things that would make my character a unique individual within the party. I would recomend that you use something like the Legion of Steel. They are very much involved in helping people throughout Ansalon and they have several PrC for each member in the party (Steel Legionnarie, Legionnarie Mystic, Legionnarie Scout and so on... ).

But as always, ask your players what they think or want first. As these are the people who will be experiencing the end result of your work.

Post back on how your campaign turns out.
