#1morgion-s_clawSep 16, 2003 7:56:07 | I don't have my books under my hands so I'm a bit lost concerning the Expert Class. Does anybody knows where I might find details (like HD, feats, Skillpoints etc)? In the DLCS there's not much written about it... Thanks! M's Claw |
#2zombiegleemaxSep 16, 2003 8:06:27 | In the DMG with the other NPC classes. Don't expect a whole lot for 'em, though, except for 8+int mod skill points. |
#3The_White_SorcererSep 16, 2003 8:10:20 | Dungeon Master's Guide. d6, 6 skill points, can choose 10 class skills, good will save, 3/4 BAB. Proficienct with simple weapons and light armor. That's all. |
#4cam_banksSep 16, 2003 8:39:23 | You could play one, but it really isn't something I would recommend. They're weaker than standard classes, just as the warrior, adept and aristocrat are weaker. Not that Dragonlance has adepts and aristocrats. Cheers, Cam |
#5morgion-s_clawSep 16, 2003 9:45:35 | Thank you all! Well, I know even an expert isn't a class well suited for a dragonhunt, but it would be quite interesting for role-playing, when fighting and the like isn't that important... I'm weird, I know, but I even like quite weak villains with cunning and a lot of connections who don't need to be powerful themselves... (hey, that's why they are trying to avoid direct confrontation with hero parties anyway!) An expert in a travelling group consisting of a trader, some guards, a hunter, a rogue and a disappointing dabbler in illusions to make their living off the villages, always on the move, well I'd like to have a group like that rather than fighter-mage-cleric-rogue standard crews Greets from M's Claw |
