#1baron_the_curseSep 24, 2003 17:42:48 | Alright, I need a little help. Maybe I’m wrong here but that’s why I’m writing this to find out. I have a player that insists that the WoHS PrC requirement is Will +4 with Wis modifier. I keep insisting all PrC requirements are consider BASE REQUIREMENTS. You need to have a unmodified Base Will +4. Am I being stubborn or am I correct? |
#2DragonhelmSep 24, 2003 17:45:52 | Page 72 of the DLCS says "Base Save Bonus: Will +4". |
#3baron_the_curseSep 24, 2003 17:58:51 | Thanks Dragonhelm. I don't have my book with me and you know how hard it is for some players to take their DMs word. |

#7zombiegleemaxSep 25, 2003 14:54:29 | You know, I never get bribes from my players unless I run Call of Cthulhu. I guess they're just more afraid. |
#8janosFeb 26, 2004 4:37:53 | Never make bribes to get something good for your character. This is is completely against the spirit of the game. Bribes should only ever be given so that something bad will happen to someone elses character, as this is fun. |
#9NivedFeb 26, 2004 12:37:42 | The ultimate gaming food is DeGeronios Deep Dish pizzas. Since those were released my group almost always tosses in for one. Remember, its not delivery! |
#10angalFeb 26, 2004 19:09:30 | Didn't Tracy hickman let you stay alive longer in a campain he DMed at a con if you gave him red Licorice?. :P |

#12zombiegleemaxFeb 29, 2004 9:22:43 | Yeah, the DM bribe is a nice tradition in this hobby, a regular occurence that doesn't really mean anything.:D The ultimate gaming food can be anything, what is most important is that it is there. In all the revised storyteller core books, there is always topic in the do and don'ts list that says: Players need their snacks. I it simply a good tradition. I find that it works best if the group simply makes a good meal together. It may take a while, but when one have been playing for severel hours, one needs a brake. |

#14DragonhelmMar 01, 2004 11:10:59 | Originally posted by Daedavias Maybe. Depends on his mood. Wouldn't want to say that he needs a diet, now would it? ;) Of course, the bribe I had last year was nothing less than a hat from NASA that a good friend sent my way. Tracy is a big astronomy buff, so anything dealing with that is good. |
#15daedavias_dupMar 01, 2004 11:22:17 | Originally posted by Dragonhelm Ah, your reasoning is good. Perhaps I shouldn't bring anything at all...or I should bring some of each! |
#16DragonhelmMar 01, 2004 11:26:10 | Originally posted by Daedavias Bribes are not necessary, but they are recommended. Some of each would show thoughtfulness, which would gain you maybe an extra minute of life. ;) |
