(Logically you can replace the mixes with any other metallic or chromatic dragons, but it comes from an idea that occured to me about when the dragons, of all colors, were hiding from the Overlords.) |
#2sweetmeatsSep 28, 2003 3:48:03 | I would use the Haf-Dragon template in the Monster Manual to determine the outcome. |
#3zombiegleemaxSep 28, 2003 3:52:38 | I should have read that template a little more carefully. I skimmed it, and assumed it didn't cross over to the more powerfull races, i.e. other dragons. Thanks for correcting the course. |
#4sweetmeatsSep 28, 2003 3:54:54 | No worries. Glad I could help. |

Metallic dragons had a higher chance of breeding true than chromatic dragons, while gem dragons suffered the lowest percentage, IIRC. |

#7zombiegleemaxSep 28, 2003 18:13:42 | I remember something from an OLD Dragon, about the missing Chromatic dragons: Yellow, Orange and Purple. Just like the color wheel. Blue and Yellows made Green. Blue and Red made Purple. Yellow and Red made Orange. And, the three missing colors had nasty breathe weapons. I remember the oranges: liquid sodium (yellows was salt crystals, combined with the fire of a Red, and that equals liquid sodium, with chlorine fumes). Sodium rusts very fast, and in some cases (like with water) explosively. I had fun using them. Anyway, use those three, for the colored, and depending on the types of metallic and colored, the breathe weapon won't have to be changed. A Gold-Red would dimply be a real shiny red, in appearance, and still have fire breath. All the other things, you'd be best to just take the average of, like dragon fear saves and all of that. |

#9zombiegleemaxSep 30, 2003 10:34:16 | I read about a dragon in the Wings of Fury supplement (5th age) The hisory of Krynn was told from the wievpoint of dragons. There was a brown dragon, children of the leader of the gold and the silver, But after that it wasnt mentioned. Arkozd |
