#1zombiegleemaxOct 02, 2003 19:46:45 | now i KNOW this must have been asked somewhere before... but i cant find it using searches... mainly i feel due to the stupid limitation on word length... anyway enough griping... does the campaign setting use ad&d 3 or 3.5? it doesnt actually say anywhere that i can find... just keeps re-iterating that it uses the "new" dungeons and dragons system... which could mean it uses advanced d&d over original as far as im concerned! maybe im blind... or maybe they didnt want to date their product... either way i need to know... my players are asking what manuals they should bring to my game.... |
#2frojasOct 02, 2003 19:47:59 | It uses 3.5ed. |
#3zombiegleemaxOct 02, 2003 19:49:07 | thank you... just for curiosities sake... am i blind or is it not stated? |
#4The_White_SorcererOct 02, 2003 19:53:05 | Originally posted by gilorian It doesn't need to be stated. |
#5iltharanosOct 03, 2003 0:28:59 | Originally posted by gilorian It's not explicitly stated, but the references throughout the campaign setting book heavily imply it, e.g. References to the craft (alchemy) skill [3.5 term] as opposed to Alchemy [3.0 term] When discussing level adjustments, points out the Monsters as Races section of Chapter 6 of the DMG [3.5] as opposed to the Monsters as Races section of Chapter 2 of the DMG [3.0] References to the survival skill as opposed to wilderness lore, etc. |
