#1NivedOct 05, 2003 0:40:59 | I'm currently DMing a game where after the introduction of an NPC half the gameing group has been converted to the religion of Sirrion (Really not my intent, just one of those things). The Human Monk see's fire as an idealic metaphor on which to base his new monastary. The Dwarven Fighter... well he loves fire, he relies on his emotions more than his head... and he did find a +1 Flaming Heavy Flail in an earlier adventure which he now considers a 'sign'. Then there's the new addition to the party who is a... wouldn't you know it a Cleric of Sirrion. Now only the Wizard doesn't follow Sirrion... but as often as he fireballs things... well anyway. Which the game approching double digits in levels I'm considering perhaps having them run into the earthly guise of Sirrion. Oh I wont tell them who it is... I'm just looking to have a Fizban/Dougan Redhammer type momment. Trouble is, I don't recall having ever run into an early form of Sirrion in my reading, if I have I don't recall it. If the God of Fire has made an apearace in a flesh suit could someone point me towards what I need to read. If not... well I wouldn't mind any suggestions you might have for a personality. |

In the Tales of the Lance his “fleshly” avatar form is described a man with flaming hair, eyebrows, and beard, wearing robes that change color in the same fashion as flames. He wields a two-handed flaming-tongue sword. It’s pretty cool actually, the avatar stats are also provided, which should be a breeze to convert to 3.5, specially if your using the Deities and Demigods book. |
