But seeing as how he was, mysteriously enough, a petitioner of Sigil itself, this presents one question: can Hashkar come back? Shouldn't he be tied to Sigil such that he cannot really be killed in his home realm? If he can't ever be killed, that could make for some interesting developments. "In the nine-thousandth year of Factol Hashkar's rule..." I wonder how their careful organization and planning would hold up to two factols, one of whom is now immortal but cannot go to their new headquarters without risking eternal destruction? |

Much as for a petitioner who died off plane and was obliterated, or one who died on their native plane and merged with its essence." "Oddly enough, my ears have come to hear a few barmy rumors about Hashkar sightings within Sigil. Some claim to have seen him wandering about the libraries of the City Courts, or seen his image reflected in an ooze portal in the hive, or in the waters of the singing fountain near the Courts, or even in the wrinkles of an arborean sweet bun." *rolls eyes* "Gehenna forbid, if the old pike headed dwarf appeared in my food I'd stab it a number of times before hurling it through a portal." "Others have claimed to have seen a resemblance to his face in a Dabus or two, or even seen Hashkar sitting and rambling on and on to a Dabus or two." "Of course, I wouldn't put too much faith in that screed. I won't believe it till I see him floating about Sigil for myself. Though I'd pay a kings ransom to get my hands upon Hashkar's personal journals." |
