Playtesting: Thri Kreen

Hello guys,

Just a couple of suggestions, if I may.

1) I know it may seem obvious but maybe the Thri Kreen "Natural Armor" racial ability should specify the type of bonus; i.e. "...giving them a +3 natural armor bonus."

You don't really need to add "to Armor Class" because a natural armor bonus always adds to AC.

2) Obviously the monster feats Improved Natural Armor, Improved Natural Attack, Multiattack and Multiweapon Fighting would be mighty useful to the Thri Kreen. Are these feats available for PCs? This is more a question for myself really.

3) In the "type" block, theres an equals sign after the word "feat". And its incredibly nitpicky, but the class skills of the Thri Kreen aren't really class skills. To signify the fact they aren't, I've noticed Monte Cook writes this as ""class" skills:" (where there are speech marks around the word "class").

1. Agreed, hopefully it will get into the next iteration of the 3.5 rules.

2. Yes. Characters can get any feat they make the requirements for, monster or otherwise.

3. Another fun fix. Don't feel bad, many of us have thrown these at the team before

And the cool thing is, as soon as I mentioned the 3rd ed book, a friend offered to run a DS campaign. Oh happy days!

If only I was actually on the team that works on the document :P

I just felt bad you had questions and nobody answered, and tried to make it sound as much like Jon's line of answers he usually pours out on questions
