The demo for this total conversion mod of Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal has recently been released. And, as both a CRPG fan(computer role playing game) and a Dragonlance fan, it has piqued my interest. Unfortunatley, I'm only on a dialup connection so downloading the 80 meg file is somewhat painful, and I don't have it yet. However, I was wondering if anybody here had managed to acquire it, or was similarly interested in it? More information and the link can be found here . A copy of the games of Baldur's Gate 2 and the expansion Throne of Bhaal, plus the latest patch is required, by the way.
I am a fan of the Baldur's Gate game series, but have always desired a similar dnd game based in the Dragonlance world moreso, so was naturally interested. Has anyone tried it, or had any interest in it as well? If so, I would be curious to hear your thoughts on it, and if not, and you are a fan of CRPG's, hopefully this will make you aware of it.
Note: I am not affiliated with, nor did I have anything to do with the creation of this mod, by the way. I was simply curious about it, and thought perhaps others who enjoyed DL and CRPG's might also be.
And yes, it's a fanmade mod, by the way, so is absolutely free, so long as you possess a copy of the above games.

The demo is great. I tried it already and loved it. It has some minor problems which will be fixed when the complete game comes out (I hope).
I think they'd welcome more dragonlance fans to point out the mistakes and help them make a perfect dragonlance game
