#1zombiegleemaxOct 24, 2003 13:13:05 | Hello all,Im getting ready to run the Sylvan Key pre adventure to Key of Destiny and I would like some input. The players are: Silvanesti Druid Sivanesti Wizard Silvanesti Rogue Daewar Mountain Dwarf Kogonesti Ranger I was planning one starting the adventure around winter, deep in the Silvanesti forest . The characters are with a caravan of refugees heading northward to the town of Pashin to avoid the Minotaur invasion. Here is where I plan to have the Characters interact with the members of the caravan. Maybe here is where I will introduce The Herald and another elven bard (female)who is already in possesion of the Sylvan Key. I also want to introduce a Human Knight of Neraka, who holds the ideals of the old ways to heart. This is to show the players that not all Knights of Neraka are dishonorable thieves, murderers. A severe snowstorm strikes the caravan .Now the characters need to work as a team to make sure everyone survives the dangerous storm. Cold weather/Heavy snowfall. Once the caravan makes their way closer to Pashin a powerful group of Minotaur slavers attack the group that they have been tracking from the beginning. The Minotaurs should almost overpower the players. When defeat is near at hand another group surrounds the battlefield. This group belongs to the Knights of Neraka lead by a Sir Pegrin. The Minotaurs stop their assault. Sir Pegrin orders the honorable Knight already part of the caravan to stand down. Here Sir Pegrin has the group put into chains and given over to the slavers. The' Caravan Knight " protests only to find protests answered by a fast and deadly blade. Now Sir Pegrin has both the female elven bard and the Sylvan Key for himself. The characters now need to escape from the slavers and find Sir Pegrin in the town of Pashin. Well thats my spin on the tale. Please, any advise or pointers would be much appreciated. |
