I like what they have started with this book. They cover the basics of everything needed to run a game with just this book. I only wish that certain areas were given a bit more depth/options. I feel that with the way this 1st book is put together the long term success of Gamma World d20 line now depends a little more on the upcoming supplements. The Player's Handbook vigorously whets my appetite, yet still leaves me a little hungry at the end.

I appreciate Mr. Baugh, Mr. Skellams, & Co.'s efforts, as Gamma World has never gotten the creative attention it truely deserves, and hope as more books are released that this will be the edition that is (hopefully) deservingly remembered as the best of the bunch.

All that being said, it's a good start. I'll gladly recommend this book to any gamer. I hope I am being supportive and constructive at the same time.

Thanks, Guroth, glad to know you liked it. Would you mind adding a little bit about what you felt was covered sufficiently and what you'd like to see more of?

We'll be writing up some more formal notes on this soon, but in the meantime: creature qualities make fine mutations. Most are minor and obviously positive or negative.

Is there any chance Sword & Sorcery/White Wolf is going to publish a big book of mutations to compensate the initial small amount presented in the Gamma World PHB?

I GOT THE GW PLAYER'S HB!!!!:D
I like the book although I'd like more mutations to give or inflict on my PCs. The Final Wars is vague enough that you get to determine how bad it was and what is and is not intact. It's a great starting point and I can't wait for Mutants & Machines to come out. Anyone know when in November its coming?

GREAT WORK SWORDS & SORCERY!!! And thanks to WOTC for letting you do it!
