It states: "Whatever their form, yugoloths tend to have the smell of sulfur around them. In their native form, they leave a faint trail of ash unless they consciously choose not to." Aside from the fact that this suggests that Yugoloths all have to 'hold it' or they smell like they've been dining on rotten eggs... ...Does this have any presence in the 2e Planescape Material (I lack that lovely book on the fiends, alas, alas). I didn't find anything on it in the Monster Compendium... Just curious (After all, it would make a nice spell component... and make for a whole host of bad yugoloth jokes for the Hivers) |

(dropping OOC) Actually I don't recall if that held true in 2e, and my books are packed away at the moment. However I'll take a look at the pdf copies I got (to save my books the wear and tear of constant use) and if nobody else answers the question, I will later on today whenever I get back from my lab. (back IC) Some do indeed find the faintest of hints of ash and sulpher alluring. Especially when its mixed with the scent of vanilla, cinnamon, or other such perfume bases. And any of those in The Hive or otherwise making any jokes along the lines of those mentioned won't be laughing when I'm leaving a trail of ash because I stepped into the pile of it they ended up being. |
