#1AlzriusNov 08, 2003 15:19:07 | The preview of the Expanded Psionics Handbook (releasing in April 2004) had a mention of the psionic races in the book (along with a new race in that preview that will not be in the book) - there will be nine total; four new ones (elan, dromite, maenad, xeph), four that are already from the new edition (githyanki, githzerai, duergar, and thri-kreen), and one from a previous edition, updated for the first time: "Finally, hailing from the same sandy world as the thri-kreen come the bigger-than-life half-giants, feeling a world where psionics was an ingrained way of life." (I won't mention how there are thri-kreen native to Athas, since they were there during even the Blue Age, but that they were also indigenous to other worlds as well; whereas half-giants are only from Athas, having been created by the Sorcerer Kings.) That said, this is great news! |
