#3zombiegleemaxNov 09, 2003 16:58:49 | I thought that you needed the regular Players Handbook only to play in Ravenloft? Am I wrong in this assumption? |
#4platinumwarlockNov 09, 2003 18:57:24 | Not entirely wrong, but slightly misguided. Not every player needs to have the RL PH/CS in order to play in Ravenloft--in fact, I'd advocate that only the DM should have one, to keep some of the secrets in it hidden, and deal with PC changes on an individual basis. However, someone in your group will need either the RL Player's Handbook (if you're in 3.5) or the RL Campaign Setting (in 3.0), in order to run Ravenloft. Without them, you lose much of the information about the setting, both setting-wise and mechanic-wise. |
