#1 tryst_91 Nov 09, 2003 16:01:39	OK with all the talk following my NWN post and the awsome screenshots that go with it. i was just wondering what kind of adventures aside from the ones it castles forlorn boxset have people run. this setting was one of my most memorable ones. tryst
#2 zombiegleemax Nov 09, 2003 16:18:52	Well I ran an adventure in Forlorn that didn't imply Tristan at all. The plot was that a druid in Forlorn put a curse on a PCs' ancestor that his descendants would be goblyns. The ancestor moved from Ravenloft, avoiding the curse but the PC returned so his son was a goblyn. He had to go back into Forlorn (where he never went) to find his son amongst all the goblyns and to get the druid (now a restless dead) to remove the curse. This is a simplified version though. A good scene I had was when the PCs met a berserker killing every goblyn in sight!
#3 tryst_91 Nov 09, 2003 16:29:01	the one i ran the players had started in barovia and were in a border town in the pouring rain in an inn. a kiltclad group of strangers enter and are in need of aid (beat up and tired.) the inn keepers kick them out because of the strangeness and the pcs offered help. the druids had been in forlorn and had been attacked and decimated by goblyns. only a handful survived and the rest were taken to the castle and the maw of arwen? (spelling) the pcs, being they heroes they were go to the castle and in a very amusing scene of the first time shift i had a dagger stuck in the back of a chair in the dinning area in the current time frame. one of the pcs pulled the dagger out and as soon as he did, i had thier vision blur and the time shift. the pc flipped out and thought he caused it so he tried stabbing the blade back into the chair. funny stuff. also it worked out nicely that they go into one room that looked like it had fire damage....later on the pcs get in a battle in a previous time frame and the wizard casts fireball in the same room!!! which they realized after the room was blackened. crazy but i had nothing to do with it. the players thought that was so awsome. tryst
