Nov 09, 2003 17:01:58 Just a quick idea, curious to see where it can go-- prestige classes based upon the kits found in The Complete Gladiator's Handbook . The Jazst and Blind Fighter especially fit well withing the tone of a 3.5 game.

It just so happens I have a version of the Jazst kit as a PrC. I also converted the Elemental Clerics to 3.0(.5?). They're in my sig if they haven't been pruned yet. Let me know what you think, b/c I'm still trying to figure out how the advanced beings work in Epic.

Nov 13, 2003 20:28:21 Welcome. The Elemental & Paraelemental clerics are already converted in the DS3 document found on athas.org. Many prestige classes have been done (that I have seen) up on a variety of websites, including those already listed above.

Just because its been done shouldn't be a disuading factor. If you think you've got a good conversion of something, toss it out for everyone to take a peek at. Granted, its still likely garner a flame or two, but if its good and it works, people will acknowledge the conversion.

How should we set up the Advanced Beings?
Requirig 20 levels as Psion and another 20 as, say, Defiler is a lot to ask. Such a character would have a real disadvantage compared to a 40 th Defiler or Psion.
Until the first guy gets the body of a Great Wyrm Red Dragon, that is. But still, at 40th lvl, this isn't as great as it sounds.

What about an Epic Spell Seed called "Psionic Enchantment," which would do something like reduce Spellcraft DC by 10-20%?

Nov 16, 2003 17:48:17 Stidwell, I know that athas.org as a project for advance beeing. Although, there isnt anything (to my knowledge) that as been started yet. They had to finish the core rule first, which is done now!

Anyway, if you wish to see some others works, I suggest you that you do a search over this forum for "advance beeing" or "metamorphosis" etc... If any WizO would bother come here, maybe they could fix the old forum, there is some interesting thoughs there as well.

Actually, I think this is about the only topic board that I haven't seen a Wizo around in in a very long time. When was the last time a Wizo had to come in and settle something, or close a thread? Guess that says something about the caliber of people here, either that or we really bore the heck out of everyone not into DS . . .
