#1zombiegleemaxNov 10, 2003 15:11:24 | I died late last night around 3:00 AM. I was in a tunnel and I did see the light. At first I was quite hesitant and in a very sureal state. The light beckoned me and there was a calm that flowed over me and eased my tensions. I walked towards the light and for the first time I noticed I was running my hand along the tunnel wall as I crept closer to the light. It was made of brick and I could tell of its age-old construction from the slick moss covering its mortar. My attention drawn back to the light by distant sounds of laughter and I continued on. When I crossed through I suddenly found myself surrounded by a white gleaming stretch of infinite distance. You could look for as far as you could see and all that was there was a white "nothingness." A vast expanse of white indeed. I was sitting in a chair at a table with most of my best friends. We were gaming. There was a smaller end table along-side the gaming table and anytime you needed to reference something you would grab for a book from this table and somehow it happened to always be the book you were looking for. Off to the right backside of the DM was a fridge and a stove. It contained a variety of different frozen pizzas and soda-pops. Everytime I'd grab either it was instantly replaced by another. There were a few comfortable cots with golden silk pillows off behind us. They looked quite comfortable, but no one ever used them. We didn't seem to require sleep. At first I remember thinking.. "what in the heck am I doing here gaming with my friends in the middle of what seems to be a never ending white no where," but then it just seemed natural to me. I no longer cared what we were doing there. I felt I was meant to be there.. gaming for all of eternity. How wondrous it was. Then I awoke at 8 AM for work. bleh! Abyss |
