Hello everybody,

I'm starting a new D&D campaign set in the world of Birthright. I've downloaded the wonderful D20 Birthright document at www.birthright.net, but now I need a detailed map of Cerilia within a week. I have two maps at the moment, but they're both of a low quality.

Anybody know where I can find a high-quality one?

Thanks,

Thanks,

Try getting the Birthright Campaign Setting boxed set. That has a HUGE map in it.

But if you need it within a week, you'll have to buy it (as a PDF) from svgames.com (4.74) or rpgnow.com (4.99). And then print the maps yourself, of course.

Oh, yeah, a major difference between svgames and rpgnow is how they handle the files.

If a file is larger than 15MB (about 2.5 hours on a dial-up modem, if I recall correctly.... *shudders at the memory* ), svgames will break it up into two or more fragments, each of 15MB or less. (Largest I've seen was one that ended up having EIGHT fragments; that's at least 105MB but less than 120MB). If it's less than 15MB, you can download the PDF itself.

rpgnow just zips all its files. While that is great for the smaller PDFs (download quicker), with larger files this means you'll have to hope you don't lose your connection during the download. Not much is more frustrating than being 90% done with a download, and then losing connection.

So it's up to you whether it's worth the extra $0.25 for rpgnow...

If you DO plan on getting Birthright downloads, you can get a bunch on sale (3.99 instead of 4.74). I think the only things that aren't available at this price are the boxed set and the two splat books (Priestcraft and Magecraft).

Note that WOTC has, for free download, the Book of Regency, the Players Secrets of Muden and Hogunmark, and the second Blood Enemies book, as well as a board game, a novel (or two?), and a bunch of "director's commentary" type of stuff.

I think the Legacy of Kings board game (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/files/BoardGame.zip) has a map of Anuire (it is cut up into sections, but still usable).
