Tonight's psuedo-official topic is: Using non-Greyhawk material in Greyhawk: good or bad? How have you used material for other D&D, D20 and Hackmaster (or any other games for that matter) in your Greyhawk game? As usual, the chat takes place on the Psionics.net irc server, and there are two basic options for those wishing to come by: Point your irc client to: Server: chat.psionics.net Port: 6667 Channel: #greytalk Irc clients are advanced chat programs, such as mirc, pirch, trillian, etc. Visit http://www.psionics.net/downloads.html if you don't have an irc client and would like to download one for free. If you don't have an irc client, Psionics.net and Canonfire.com have joined forces to make the chats accesible to you! Visit http://www.psionics.net/chat/java/chat1.html to use the handy Java interface. Once the applet loads, just replace -guest- with your desired nickname for the chat and select -greytalk- from the drop down channel menu. Then click the -Connect Now!- button and voila, you're chattin in Greychat! Look forward to seeing everyone there
#2 despotrix Nov 20, 2003 15:03:24	In response to the popular request here for a weekly topic to give the chat some direction, I've added suggested topics to the chat announcements (which, by the way, I've taken over for chatdemon for a while due to his work schedule) drawn from interesting threads here on the forum. Don't be alarmed if the topics stray, the chats never hold one topic for long, but stop on by and talk about how you've incorporated other materials into your greyhawk game. See ya there!

For those who missed it, Steve Chenault of Troll Lord Games popped in with some teasers about the upcoming Castles & Crusades OGL game and Gary Gygax's Castle Zagyg product, as well as get to know some of the GreyTalk regulars. You never know who'll drop by, so pencil the chats in for thursday nights! And if ya were wondering, ya! We'll be there next week! (Thanksgiving night in the US). It's usually a bit later picking up and a little slower than normal on holidays, but we're there as usual. Drop by and say hi!
