Perhaps on Yuletide, the spirits of the druids of Forlorn arise, seeking vengeance on the goblyns of their lands, as well as on any careless traveler who happens to be there. Only by completing the druids' Yuletide rites, can their spirits be laid to rest for another year.

Ghost stories in Mordent.

You laugh, but Christmas actually is (was?) a traditional ghost-story-telling time in England-- you'll see such referenced in Victorian horror stories quite a lot.

I may be wrong but I thought one of the Ravenloft books listed festivals from each Domain. I would think the best place to start would be to pick a festival that most resembles Christmas and look to base an adventure about that.

Hmmm, now I really want to find the book that had the list in it. If anyone knows which book please let me know.

It's from one of the latter Books of S_ that the Karg put together.

The Book of Secrets was the title.

Thanksgiving in G'Henna would have to be a disturbing and solemn experience.

I've always wanted to base an adventure on Terry Pratchett's Hogswatch. Making the Hogfather a creepy little bogeyman which rides out on Winter solstice, and delivers presents to those who have been good. Those who have been bad (in his mind, of course...), however...

EDIT: Oh, wait, I see that Ryan Naylor has already covered that in the Book of Sacrifices. See the article NOISES IN THE NIGHT: http://www.kargatane.com/sacrifices/bosacpdf.zip

Ach, now I feel stupid. I was going to make an article out of it, as a compendium to his... That's what I get for not checking my sources...
