a defiler/preserver test

Dec 01, 2003 10:26:48 One of my preserver players is on the line between being a defiler or a preserver. I have given her some bonuses (for example I considered her like she was 2 level higher when she cast a spell as a defiler) because I wanted to see how far she would go. Now I want to give her a test and at the end of the test I will either make her a defiler or she will remain as a preserver. But the problem is, the shouldn't know I am testing her.
Do you have any idea about how the test should be?

Dec 01, 2003 10:46:06 Throw her in the Den of Tembos. If she comes out alive, she will be a defiler. If not, she is tembo fodder. Problem solved in either way... :D

Dec 01, 2003 12:24:44 Hum... let's try something. Maybe have her or her party surprised on a crime scene, where they werent guilty and have the templar arrest them. It's there that you will see if she really is a preserver or defiler. IF she decide to take the small help from defiling to get her ass out of there, you will be fixed. Having to deal with templars can be a very persuasive way to learn your true identity.

Jan 14, 2004 12:55:14 I had that happen to me! One of those nasty plants that shoot out vines to trap flying prey. I was flying over the desert, just an innocent little succubus not hurting anyone...when I get snagged! I preserved the thing then blasted it with a fireball. We still laugh about that one.
