#1zombiegleemaxDec 04, 2003 17:47:27 | Hi, Im starting a post apocalyptic stetting game using the D20 modern rules. I'm adding in some new weapons that I have taken from the PC video game Tribes 2. I need some help making sure the way I set them up makes them not over powered and not lame at higher levels....so please respond. http://www.planettribes.com/tribes2/weapons.shtml 1) Spinfuser. This two handed gun shoots energy infused disks. The explode on contact. Minor splash damage. With a weapon like this...being energy based, do I use ranged touch attack? Ranged attack on regular AC? Reflex save? How much splash damage? 2) ELF gun: The Electronic Flux Gun, is a short-range energy weapon. It deals little direct damage 1-2 HP per round) , but I want it to act like a shock weapon that stops mobility and all or partial actions while the energy arc is hitting the enemy. Again ranged attack? Then grapple check? If so at what bonus modifier? HELP! 3) Shock lance: When you thrust the lance at an enemy, the lance head releases a charge, doing damage to your enemy. Damage is greatly increased if you attack from the rear of your target by focusing the charge on the spinal cord. With D20 modern there is no "sneak attack" how to I do this? HELP!!! |
