Illithid bigwig builds the apparatus. God-brain knew all the time, everything goes to Hell in a handbasket. There's other stuff, but the adventure was written primarily to give Madness checks a dry run. |

Part of the mod is pure survival in a "post-apocalyptic" setting that should send the PCs underground to escape from lightning strikes and the elements. PCs w/o the ability to provide for themselves won't last long... ...of course once they go underground they have to deal with the illithids that live there. Once again PCs may not last long. Though not a huge champion of the neo-vampiric illithids introduced in this module I still thing its one of the best "out of the frying pan and itno the fire" mods out there. Discounting Vecna (and maybe Gwydion) the Godbrain is the single toughest Darklord out there. -Eric Gorman |
