#1zombiegleemaxDec 18, 2003 13:18:26 | Being an avid comic book collector as well as a die hard Dragonlance fan, I just want to express my best wishes since I just read at the Pulse that you'll be co-writting the new Dragonlance comic with issue 2. Good luck and I'm extremely jealous. |
#2brimstoneDec 18, 2003 13:27:01 | Congrats my friend! I'm very much looking forward to it. (next time I come up to KC...remind me to bring my comics with me so I can get you to sign them.) ;) |
#3daedavias_dupDec 18, 2003 13:29:02 | ...it...is...not...fair... Congrats DH, if I ever come to Gencon and I see you there I will have you sign my comic. |
#4DragonhelmDec 18, 2003 14:23:43 | Oh, wow! I didn’t realize that they had announced this. Thanks for the well wishes, everyone. For me, this is a dream come true. I’m a comic book collector as well, and obviously a Dragonlance fan. On top of that, I like to write and I’m a huge fan of Richard Knaak’s. Needless to say, I’m in heaven. Working with Roaring Studios on the Legend of Huma has been great. I’ve been helping out some with issues one and two, and begin writing with Sean Jordan on issue #3. As it stands now, I do plan on being at GenCon 2004 in Indy (Mrs. Dragonhelm and weather permitting), and I’ll be happy to sign any comics. Again, thanks for the well wishes. That means a lot to me. |

#6brimstoneDec 18, 2003 14:56:10 | Originally posted by Baron the Curse Um...didn't you read the first post? He didn't win anything, he's going to be writing the Huma Comic books. |
#7bohicaDec 18, 2003 15:25:22 | Yes, congratulations Dragonhelm. It's only right that somebody with as much passion and devotion to Dragonlance as you be selected to bring Krynn alive through comic books. Bohica |
#8zombiegleemaxDec 18, 2003 16:39:03 | Congratulations, I have to echo the post before me: It is good to hear of someone working on a DL comic that has such dedication and pasion to the world of Krynn as you. Knowing that someone who enjoys Dragonlance and obviously enjoys writing, will be working on the project is an assurance that the comic will be well written and true to DL's epic flavor. Congrats Again, Shade |
#9zombiegleemaxDec 18, 2003 17:25:29 | Congrats DH. I'll be sure to buy the comics. I know that they will be great. |
#10baron_the_curseDec 18, 2003 17:47:10 | Originally posted by Brimstone That's cool!! Well, you save me the trouble of reading the first post. I just figure I'll congratualate his good fortune as well. |
#11zombiegleemaxDec 18, 2003 18:48:05 | Congratus are indeed in order Well Done. |
#12darthsylverDec 18, 2003 19:49:09 | Congrats to you from me as well DH. |
#13zombiegleemaxDec 18, 2003 21:24:42 | Congradulations, dude, I would just like to say YARGIBLE!!!!!:fight!: And now, good ol' DH is dead. His passing will be mourned. Just before he died, he wrote something on this McDonalds napkin. Let me read it: I, Dragonhelm, *NOT* Jacen Solo 5007, want Jacen to take over working on the Legend of Huma comics in the event of my early(but not early enough!) demise brought upon by being brutally stabbed to death. -Dragonhelm(once again, *NOT* Jacen Solo. He's definately not me. He didn't murder Dragonhelm and then write this on a napkin in what he hopes looks enough like my handwriting that no one notices. Nope. Not at all) *whispers to self* Suckers! They'll never see though my clever plan! |
#14DragonhelmDec 18, 2003 22:25:00 | Argh! You got me. No, wait...I'm also a Legend of the Five Rings enthusiast. Yes...the power of blood shall fuel my Maho spells! *fizzle* Damn! We're in Dragonlance. Okay, fine. I'll use my psionic powers. *crickets* Darn! Darn! Darn! Psionics don't exist on Krynn! Very well, I shall turn Andre' into a dragonspawn to deal with you! :whatsthis What's this? He's already a spawn in the service of the dragon overlord Caminthrallinox?! Okay. I have just one trick left. Yeah, I thought so. ;) Disclaimer: No emoticons were harmed in this post, although we now think the mighty Dragonhelm is a bit |

Your mistake shall be your downfall! Hmm.. unless you edit this post... BUT MY CONSCIENCE SHALL BE MY WITNESS! |

#19brimstoneDec 19, 2003 10:21:07 | Originally posted by Richard Connery Ah...but he can't edit your post (which has his quote). MWAHAHAHA!!! We should definately mark this occasion...make it a DLMB Holiday...the day DH finally admits there is no psionics in Dragonlance. |
#20daedavias_dupDec 19, 2003 10:26:41 | Originally posted by Brimstone Well, one can only assume that Richard was just making it up. When people go back to look at DH's quote they would be like, Is this Richard guy full of poo or what:D Technically can't he edit Richard's post since he is effectively a moderator? But that is besides the point, DH admitted there was no psionics and that is all that matters. There are too many witnesses for there to be a cover up...unless he offs all of us...crap... |
#21zombiegleemaxDec 19, 2003 10:30:47 | He can't off all of us. ... Can he? Well, at least he can't off us all with psionics! Bwahahahaha! |
