#1sad_ravenDec 19, 2003 12:10:02 | There's an interesting product announcement from Monte Cook over at www.enworld.org :D |
#2incenjucarDec 19, 2003 14:55:45 | Cool. Alternative Planescape. ...Honestly, with all of these planar products coming out in 2004, why the bloody did they bother dropping the PS line? Foolishness, bah. |
#3factol_rhys_dupDec 19, 2003 16:44:42 | Looks awesome. Though sadly, looks like they're forced to avoid anything that appeared in planescape. Oh well, they also said it's modular, and who knows, maybe it'll rule on its own. Besides, it's written by the Planescape crew, so quality is assured. |
#4zombiegleemaxDec 19, 2003 19:27:43 | Interesting, hey anybody know anything about the Legends and Lairs planes book? |
#5zombiegleemaxDec 19, 2003 23:40:07 | Couldn't the new product co-exist with the Planescape cosmology? They mentioned that there are elements of this release that were left out of the original planescape... |
#6zombiegleemaxDec 19, 2003 23:56:18 | Thats what I was thinking. Hell, they could be yet undiscovered planes. Kinda like some primes (i.e. new settings I buy) I just put them in as yet undiscovered. |
#7zombiegleemaxDec 20, 2003 3:25:01 | I am very much looking forward to it. That is, I NEED IT NOW! |
#8factol_rhys_dupDec 20, 2003 7:19:22 | I think mostly the new planes and monsters could be added into planescape by just incorporating them as planar sites and new creatures in the Great Wheel (or elsewhere). I'm guessing the prestige classes will be rather easy to fit in, and the spells and feats will be even easier. These are our favorite planescape guys, so I think they'll probably be thinking, at least somewhat of ease-of-planescapification when they write it. |
