#1zombiegleemaxDec 27, 2003 19:10:19 | Has anyone gone beyond the descriptions in the Dragonlance CS and actually made stats for the deities? Like they have stats in Deities and Demigods or Faiths and Pantheons? I would really like to see them if anyone has. |
#2baron_the_curseDec 27, 2003 19:28:44 | The original Dragonlance Adventures provided stats for the deities. If you can find one it should be easy enough to convert to 3.5. Although that might have been the stats for the avatars, but I don't think so since some gods where Wizard 40th/Cleric 40th! I guess that needs to be tune down as well. |
#3zombiegleemaxDec 27, 2003 19:38:09 | Yeah I have that book too. I think they were the stats for the deities themselves. A-la "Legends and Lore" in first edition. |
#4zombiegleemaxDec 27, 2003 21:02:18 | I don't know if "tuning down" the deity stats will be feasible given how "tuned up" the dragon overlords were. If the gods are to remain comparable then a 20th level cap on each class might not be such a great thing. |
#5baron_the_curseDec 27, 2003 21:34:32 | A 20th Level cap would be unfeasible for the gods! I’m thinking tuning then down to 30th through 50th Levels give or take. I just think 80th Level is just too much. |

#7cam_banksDec 27, 2003 22:22:00 | Originally posted by Baron the Curse They're actually next to useless for the purposes of coming up with 3.5 versions of the gods. It's better to start from scratch, to be honest. Cheers, Cam |

The difficulty probably lies mainly in determining what class and picking out the salient divine abilities - but for example there's probably no reason to assume they're not as powerful as the gods in Forgotten Realm's Faith's and Pantheons - or the Deities and Demigods example. |
