Mystic question

Dec 31, 2003 7:19:26		I've looked through the DLCS and I can't seem to find whether a Mystic uses a Holy Symbol or Medallian of Faith (unlikely) at all. If not, what do they use in place of it?

For any spell which requires a divine focus, a mystic instead uses something linked to their domain which is personal to them. This has been brought up on forum discussion before, where we came to the conclusion that although most mystics don't have a holy symbol or Medallion of Faith (since they are not true clerics), it isn't unreasonable to think that they might use a favorite smoothed or worn stone (for an Earth mystic), a sword (for a War mystic), a lucky rabbit's foot (for a Luck mystic), etc.

Mystics from the Citadel of Light may very well still use a Medallion of Faith, but it won't have any special abilities until the return of the gods (but would make a suitable divine focus for a mystic spell).
