This makes them the only planeborn/exemplar without an alignment subtype. They are most definitely without an alignment, as Center will adamantly tell you. This made me realize that there are no [Neutral] descriptor spells (that I know of, and unless WotC makes the Book of Neutrality as some have surmised). Anyone have comments on this? Or better yet, does anyone have any ideas for [Neutral] spells or effects? |

I think that if [neutral] is made into a sub-type, it would have to exclude all 4 of the other alignment types (so no [lawful, neutral] for example). I remember a second edition spell that could pick up the [neutral] descriptor, but I don't think it made it into 3e. Analyze Balance was a preist spell that told how many steps away from TN a cutter was. The "Balanced" prefix would go right alongside Axiomatic, Anarchic, Holy, and Unholy, and use its abilities against those who are LG, LE, CG, or CE. I can't think of anything better at the moment since my gut is rumbling. Gruel just doesn't satisfy. |
