Slashing into his foes like a demon possessed, even pushing horses and wagons out of his path. His black armor glistening with blood while it deflects killing blow after killing blow. Is there any feat of strength that these beats can’t accomplish? The Blood Horns are an elite group of mercenaries. Despite not technically being part of the Empires military forces these warriors are called upon from time to time to provide teams of skilled storm troopers. The Blood Horns being highly resistant to fear as well as being able to tear through tight formations have shown time and time again the value of well placed brute force The Blood Horns fill their ranks with only the largest, most physical and loyal of the Minotaur Nation. Requirements; Race; Minotaur Skills; intimidate 5, jump 5 Feats; power attack, horned stampede, hulking brute BAB; +6 Class abilities Hit die; d12 BAB; same as a fighter Saves, good fort The Blood Horn’s class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Climb (Str), Intimidate (Cha/Str), Jump (Str), Listen (Wis), Knowledge (Minotaur), Spot (Wis), Survival (Wis), and Swim (Str). Armour; Can only use his increased movement and charging bonuses when in light or medium armours. A BH can’t use ANY shields. Weapons; Can wield any melee weapons but as for missile weapons they may be used but only if the targets are too cowardly to close into melee. No proficiencies for either are gained. Lvl 1) Offensive rage Lvl 2) uncanny dodge Lvl 3) offensive rage 2/day Lvl 4) Stubborn as a bull Lvl 5) offensive rage 3/day Lvl 6) brute force, improved uncanny dodge Lvl 7) offensive rage 4/day Lvl 8) Blood Horn, Reckless rage Lvl 9) Ferocious rage 5/day Lvl 10) Horned rush, Charge of the Bull Offensive rage; +6 str bonus, adds str bonus on will saves, +10’ movement, -2 Ac, lasts 3 rnds+ str modifier Blood Horn; a BH’s horn damage raises to 1d8 and stays 2d8 during a charge. Reckless rage; a BH may continue his rage even after his rage duration ends but by doing so he sustains 10 points of sub dual damage/round. Stubborn as a bull; +4 save vs, any mind- altering spell (ie. fear, charm, illusions...) Brute force; allows a BH to apply double his str bonus when using his horns for a charge Ferocious rage; rage is increased to +10 to str and the BH is no longer winded. Charge of the bull; a Blood Horn may make a full (weapons only) attack after a succesful horn charge. Horned rush, doubles a horn’s charge damage Blood Horn Gear Blood axe ; a Minotaur Blood axe is a two handed weapon that can only be wielded by a large sized character or as an exotic weapon by one with the hulking brute feat.. It has two serrated blades with large blood channels. Cost 30 gp Dmg 3d6 Crit x3 Wt. 24 lb Type slashing Sargas’ Shield; this armour is worn by the elite of the Blood Horns and is only available after proving ones worth in multiple battles. Forged for both mobility and protection this adamantium breastplate allows its user great protection while not hindering movement. Cost 11200 gp Armor +5 Max dex +3 Armor pen. –4 Arcane spell fail. 25% Speed 30 DR 2 Wt. 40 lbs |
