Anyone have thoughts on what shrines and temples of the different GH gods would look like?

I think a great writeup for the OJL could be "Clerics, Shrines and Temples of Greyhawk"

It could list temple types, designs and trappings of the different GH gods.

Well, I guess the temples would be designed to reflect the gods likes/dislikes.

Temples of Pelor would most likely have plenty of windows to let the sunlight in and would be open and airly.

Temples to Heironeous would have statues of various knights/noble warriors and tapestries of thier deeds along with ceremonial armor/weapons hanging up.

A temple to Pholtus would be plain and stone. It would be arranged neatly and orderly and would probably have skylights or powerful magical light to keep the "blinding" light of Pholtus inside the building.

Shrines are simply small worship spots. A shrine would probably be a small statue or something with the gods holy symbol and name engraved or even simply scratched in to it.

You can find some more detailed descriptions of deities, their faiths, and temples in the Oerth Journal "Of Oerth and Altar" columns. You can download the OJ issues on www.canonfire.com, in the downloads section at http://www.canonfire.com/htmlnew/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=2
