#1zombiegleemaxJan 11, 2004 14:13:12 | I recently acquired the new Ravenloft 3.5 PHB and discovered that it is the exact same text as the Ravenloft Core Campaign Setting book. The only difference is that Players Handbook appears on the front, some of the illstartions within the book have been replaced or done over, and the map on the inset of the book has been redone and is covered in a red font. My question is why are there two books out there with the same information. I felt kinda stupid after buying the PHB only to discover that I already had the same material, just under a different name. |

Notably classes weaknesses for the core classes, the Magic Rating system and a new PrC. Now most of these additions are somewhat judged unnecessary by most RL players here (me included). |

God forbid they could've just called it "Ravenloft Campaign Setting v3.5" and saved us a few dollars. As noted above, it's a touchy subject with a few folks on here. |
