Knight of the Sword Smite Question?

Jan 17, 2004 15:42:15 When calculating the damage for a Sword Knight's smite ability, do all Knight levels stack or is it solely Sword Knight levels? If it is, then a knight that pursues Rose status is going to have a pretty wimpy Smite.

Jan 17, 2004 17:00:26 In the booklet that comes with the DL Dm screen, I looked at the NPC Knight of the Rose that they have in there.

And by the looks of things, they only add their Knight of the Sword Levels to the smite damage..

But of course, your DM can always allow the Knight of the Rose levels to count as well. Which would seem somewhat reasonable to me.

Jan 17, 2004 22:32:21 Those entering into the KoR shouldnt get any more bang for their buck. They already make the KoS pretty much obsolete so please dont kill off the rest of those that want the KoS to live.

Jan 17, 2004 23:27:54 It's Sword Knight levels only. If the Rose Knights had a Smite Evil ability, then the two of them would stack, but they don't, so it doesn't count.
