I had no idea that GH was filled with such depth and plot hooks, not to mention intrigue and roleplaying opportunities. I am kicking myself for not picking up this book sooner. In any event-I was thinking of starting a campaign in the Duchy of Tenh was wondering if anyone could help me come up with a plot for Tenh to reclaim some of its territory from the Pale and Stoneholder. I know that it looks pretty hopeless for Tenh, but that is part of the fun! I was thinking that the PC's could gather more support from the County of Urnst someway. I am new to the setting, so I am not exactly sure of the history involved and how to go about this. Any ideas/insights would be much appreciated. :D |

He used the invasion as a ruse to keep powerful enemies looking west while he concentrated his forces on Furyondy/Shield Lands. All the gold and treasures have been plundered. The only thing left of value is the land itself, and Iuz is not of the temperament to oversee or care about peasants working the land. If his orc armies get hungry, Iuz tells them to raid. Further, Iuz allowed the enchantments over Sevvord Redbeard to dispell. It takes too much energy to maintain such a hold over a 20th level character. As Tenh is no longer strategically important for Iuz, neither is his hold over Sevvord. |
