Jan 25, 2004 15:01:58 I've recently created a new planar site, so I'd thought I'd seek out comments, criticism, and opinions on it. Since a pic goes along with it, I'm posting the web page that I put it on. Please excuse the annoying pop-up banner.

What happens if you're climbing and you fail a check? Is this thing suspended in a larger chamber? I was a little unclear on that.

Jan 25, 2004 15:40:21 Failing a climbing check causes falling, just like slipping through one of the holes from the inside. I'll change things to reflect this.

Also, it seems to be suspended somewhere that has no apparent sides, top, or bottom, which I also need to add to the description.

Jan 25, 2004 22:35:52 No, I don't have any other created material on a web site. I created that page specifically for the planar site, which is my first foray into creating totally original locations for Planescape.

Jan 26, 2004 0:28:52 Not to turn this into a "pat on the back" thread, but I like what I've seen, Sword of Geddon. Even though I didn't post it, I especially liked The Campaigners. I also found your list of demiplanes to be very helpful.

Question though. What exactly was that a picture of originally? It rather looks like a magnified seed. Just curious.

Jan 26, 2004 3:33:17 Truth is, inspiration for Planescape can be found in nearly any place, given the weirdness of the setting. For instance, the Demiplane of Holes(From my thread) has its roots in the (Really) old Beatles Cartoon film "The Yellow Submarine" as well as an episode of an old Spider-Man cartoon I once watched.

Keep up the good work!

PS. If you could "immortalize" the Campaigners, by putting them on your web page, I'd appreaciate it.

Jan 27, 2004 20:09:02 The information on the link has been revised and reformatted a little to look more like an actual Planescape entry. If there is anything else that needs to be clarified, then just let me know. Also, the title is supposed to be in exocet font. Although I'm pretty much clueless as to the ins and outs of actual web design, you might have to have that font on your computer to see it properly. I'm not sure about that, but there's the warning, just in case.
