So, I was playing "Mount Doom" or something like that last night (based off the old module..."Mount Plume" or something similar)...and I noticed a lot of Dragonlance references in the history of the weapons that were stolen.

For the Hackslasher (I think) it was once weilded by a multi-personalitied man named Fistandandilus. heh heh

And the special bow that we were going after (whose name I forget) was once weilded by a red-bearded half-elf with a thing for black haired dragon worshiping women named Tanith.

There were others, but that's all I can remember. My character was a reclusive chronic liar with an inappropriate sense of humor...so I didn't feel I needed to pay attention to the details too much. :D

I just thought it was humorous, so I decided to share it with other DL fanatics.

Heh heh. Sounds like fun.

There are DL references in various other settings. Kender in the Realms. Medallions of Faith in d20 Modern (Jeff Grubb is one of the designers...), tinker gnomes are everywhere...

Kenzerco got the rights to borrow from _everything_ done for D&D under 1E and 2E. The whole DL pantheon shows up in their _Gawds and Demi-Gawds_ [sic] sourcebook. It's mostly a reprint of the TotL text, with some additions, connections to the HM multiverse, and the trademark Hackmaster misspellings (e.g., "High Gawd").
