I thought I'd post some new bloodline feats from the recent Dragon Magazine in which bloodline abilities were feats. Enjoy.

Bloodmark [Blood]
The character is marked by a visible sign that marks him as a scion.
Prerequisite: Bloodline (any).
Benefit (Minor): The character gains a +3 bonus on Diplomacy and Intimidate checks. Benefiting from this ability does not require an action.

Heightened Ability [Blood]
The old gods of Aebrynis each had a trait or traits that they cherished. These abilities are as follows: Anduiras - Strength or Charisma; Basaia - Intelligence; Brenna - Dexterity; Masela - Charisma; Reynir - Constitution; Vorynn - Wisdom; Azrai - Intelligence or Charisma.
Prerequisite: Bloodline (any).
Benefit (Minor): The character gains a +2 enhancement bonus to the character's appropriate ability. If there is more than one, the character chooses which score. Benefiting from this ability does not require an action.
Benefit (Major): The character gains a +4 enhancement bonus to the character's appropriate ability. This does not stack with the minor ability. Benefiting from this ability does not require an action.
Benefit (Great): The character gains a +6 enhancement bonus to the character's appropriate ability. This does not stack with the minor or major ability. Benefiting from this ability does not require an action.
Special: You can only take this feat once for those with two choices in ability scores.

Persuasion [Blood]
Scions can persuade others to their point of view.
Prerequisite: Bloodline (Azrai or Brenna)
Benefit (Minor): The character gains a +4 competence bonus to Bluff checks. Benefiting from this ability does not require an action.
Benefit (Major): Once per day, the scion may cast suggestion.

After tearing up my room, I managed to find my 3e conversion of bloodlines for Birthright and I couldn't believe how similar it was to the one in Dragon Magazine #315. I, too, had decided to turn blood abilities to feats but mine were more divided. A scion had to take a feat for each power level of the blood ability (ie it would take 3 feats to gain the great ability for animal affinity). The other difference was that I tied the feats to the bloodline score. You still had to use one of your character feats to gain bloodlines but afterwards you gained feats based on your bloodline score.

Here is the list
Bloodline score
0-19
20-39
40-59
60-79
80-99
100+

For every 20 blood points you gained a feat. You also gained a feat between 0-19 blood points. I also gave a bonus feat for every level above tainted in your bloodline strength. (ie 1 for minor, 1 for major, 1 for great - these stack, a character with a great bloodline has three bonus feats). At the highest level a character would have 9 blood feats although odds were a character would only have between 3-5 blood feats throughout the game. The only problem I had was in increasing bloodline strength. Never figured out a good way for a character to jump to the next level in strength.

All these bonus feats did not come without a price. As soon as a character to the scion feat (Dragon calls it the bloodline feat) he gained a +1 ECL. I might combine my version with that from the magazine for a new 3e version of bloodlines.

But enough of that here is another bloodline feat.

Long Life [Blood]
The scion ages at an incredible slow rate.
Prerequiste: Bloodline (any)
Benefits (Minor): After rolling the starting age or deciding a starting age, the character ages one year for every five years that pass.
Benefits (Major): After rolling the starting age or deciding a starting age, the character ages one year for every 25 years that pass.
Benefits (Great): After rolling the starting age or deciding a starting age, the character ages one year for every 100 years that pass.

Both Heightened ability and Bloodmark are already Core.

Don't know what you mean about Core but Bloodmark and Heightened Ability are not in Dragon Magazine #315, hence my version.
