#1zombiegleemaxJan 30, 2004 3:23:52 | I figured I would stop by the site and see what was going on tonight.. or this morning rather seeing how late it is. I was shocked that the site has retired from regular activity, as of a while ago at that. I havent had much reason to pick up a Ravenloft book in several years, i've just been pulled to other games and people. To put it quite simply, the Kargatane site was a masterpiece. I could not have created such a thing even if I were being paid full time to do so. As a dabbler I found the topics and conversation were so complex or of such a dedicated nature that I would have to wrack my brain to scoop up anything worthwhile to offer. The books which are still hosted there to this day are of a quality as high as the products you see on the shelf at your local gaming store. Thank you everyone who participated in the Kargatane community for the info, the advice, and fostering the heart of Ravenloft. You definitely played an integral role in keeping the series alive to this day. |
