Where are the major gnome populations within greyhawk?

The Kron Hills south of Verbobonc and the Flinty Hills in west Nyrond have large gnome populations. So do the Headlands of Onnwal.

Hope that helps.

Regrettably, gnomes must be excised from Greyhawk. I am sure most of us have a race that we just loathe. Gnomes are that race, for me.

thats too bad Greyson, becuase the gnomes have been put to much better use in greyhawk then they have in any other campaign world that TSR (or WotC after them) created...

Are you counting the gnome sweat lodge scene in Vecna Lives?

Believe it or not this thread was done before. Alot of Gnome bashing went on. Heck halflings were thrown in and it got to be an unfriendly place for the little people. I have a Gnomes of Oerth article that you can find on cannonfire.com if this helps anyone. Remember this is my version of the Gnomish race.

He he he, I remember the former post regarding gnomes and halflings. There was persuasive gnome and halfling support, too. Like Argon said, it was a spirited discussion that covered cross-genre ground and gnomes throughout D&D editions.

I stand by my statements of then and now. You want gnomes? Look for the ceramic pieces in your neighbor's flower bed. Looking for halflings? Stick with J.R.R. Tolkien.

Don't you be dissing the gnomes.

crashing a gnome assembly is a lot like crashing lamba, lamba, lamba.

Better sleep with one eye open gnome haters

and don't they hang out with the archmage?

I have always had a soft spot for those underdogs. Therefore I try to include gnomes and halflings whenever I can. I believe there was also some smaller gnome outposts in the Good Hills, the Yatil Mountains, and let's not forget Grossetgrottel near Greyhawk.:D
